Crystals comes in many forms, raw clusters like the one above, this is a cluster of crystal points in their natural form, tumbled pieces into all kinds of shapes; a sphere (ball), will remind you that you are a part of something bigger, you will feel like your holding the whole world in your hands, they are also excellent for divination, scrying. Palm stones, (a flat piece) to hold in your hand, great for meditation. A cube shaped crystal, these are good for grounding. Pyramid shaped crystals are popular, they are said to be great for manifesting your desires, their strong base acts as an anchor, for your intention, while the apex of the pyramid sends your intentions out into the universe. Crystal points, (Wands) are a powerful tool for manifesting, and directing energy through the points. Hearts/Angels/Moons/Stars/Skulls the list is endless, while the crystal shaped into whatever it is, it will essentially emit the energy of the crystal itself, but the shape can make a difference on what you want the crystal to do, eg; a heart crystal will give you great love energy, the Angels will look over you. The small tumbled stones are considered a stepping stone into the world of crystals, they are very practical, inexpensive, and mobile, but don’t be fooled by their size these travel friendly babies are indeed powerful.
Amethyst is known as a very spiritual crystal, you can use it to help enhance your psychic abilities, you can hold it during meditation, use it as part of a ritual, or have a piece on you during the day, a stone, or as a piece of jewellery. It also cleanses other crystals, by placing the crystal on top of the Amethyst.

There are many shades of purple for amethyst, there are some that are deeply dark purple, but you can also get it where the purple is quite light, (the one above is so) if it is a wand, or sphere, etc, it’s like you can see all the way into the crystal, every little mark/strand is there for you to see. It is quite beautiful. There is also banded amethyst, which is a dark purple with bands of white in it. (It looks more like a mineral, because of this) The picture below is a few tumbled pieces of banded amethyst. The one underneath is a picture of a few Wands in a variety of the shades of purple that amethyst comes in.
